Vortex Users Rejoice. News. Added a workaround for the "My Games" Data folder. Vortex will now copy all the files already installed to Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data into the game Data directory, then create a junction that tricks the game into redirecting any files it would read to or write from the Documents folder to use the game folder.

Most mod authors put instructions in the details of the post to let you know. It will know where to deploy most mods that add deploy links to the game folder and\or the data folder. I found one that needed to install to the save game folder (Neutral LUT), and Vortex didn't deploy it correctly. That's all I've come across.

Hi so since installing the Starfield Vortex Extension (so vortex would manage my plugins.txt file) I have an issue that whenever I download a plugins mod, vortex will add a data directory into the mod and place the plugin inside that, meaning once deployed the plugin is installed into this folder: "Starfield\Data\Data" which results ... 2.In the Extensions tab I see that Starfield is Enabled. I Restart Vortex to make sure it's installed properly. 3.Next I go to the Nexus Mods Website to download the Upscaler Base Plugin zip file using the Mod Manager Download. 4.
