Metal fence posts not holding up against wind. I had about 400' of fence installed last year by a reputable builder. I opted for metal posts and cedar pickets to make sure my investment would stand the test of time. There is about a 100' section that is 8' since we're on a slope and needed the height to actually get some privacy.
