The Ohlins are a great product. So are the WP. Craftsmanship is definitely higher on the WP stuff and the concept in how they function differs. The Ohlins are a solid older design that works very well. The WP is a newer design that also works very well. I would encourage you to get a set through Powerband (I know I sound like a broken record).

In terms of the spring rate, it may have been a bit of a trade off for solo. Wife liked over stock. Progressive springs up front are doing the job nicely.
