You have to do a set amount of damage after volatile is applied for it to detonate. I noticed that when I'm using my void trace rifle in combination with volatile rounds in Nightmare Containment, there are times where the "Volatile Rounds" exploding from a boss can go at an absurdly fast rate. I'm just trying to understand what causes the faster rate vs the standard which seems to be 1-2 explosions a second with a trace rifle.
