I am pretty sure it got damaged a couple years ago when my wife side swiped a post and we paid a body shop to fix the door. There was issues and they had to take it to the dealer to get it working again.Went to Honda and they quoted 1500 to repair. Well, I went on EBAY and purchased a used latch assembly and it worked, BUT, it somehow fixed the auto open and closed TOO.
