First, My wife put in reverse to back out from the drive way and the car move forward instead of moving back. Second time was in a school parking lot. 1. Turn off the vehicle and lift the front end to gain access to the drain bolt. 2. Loosen the drain bolt. 3. Lower the vehicle back down on the ground and remove the drain bolt completely and remove the filler cap to drain the fluid. 4. Wipe off the metal shaving on the drain bolt and install new washer if necessary.My take is change the CVT fluid at 20,000 miles. Its not the products of combustion in the CVT that are the problem, it's the suspended particles of wear that bother me. Note the crap you get on the first fluid change, it's amazing.
