When Rick, a true local staple, serves you a drink with a warm smile and asks about your day, you know you've found a good spot. Suddenly, the worries of the day fade away. Built in 1914, it replaced the covered bridge we see in the pictures below. The wooden covered bridge was built in 1831, and carried the historic National Road.
